Local Area Information
Noble Park has a mixture of residential, commercial and industrial zones and is home to a highly multicultural population. Over the last few years shared public spaces in the area have been revamped and enhanced.
Located 26km south-east of the Melbourne CBD, the area is serviced by two bus services and has multiple train services from Noble Park railway station.
Noble Park precinct is a community style shopping village which has a range of traditional food specialty stores and a large number of specialised grocery stores catering for specific cultural groups.
Being formerly market gardens, Noble Park has fertile soil and to this day still has a large number of River Red Gum trees.
There are a number of parks and reserves and two of the areas current parks have recently been transformed with new improved facilities.
In recent years local and state governments have invested substantially in the area including the Paddy O'Donoghue Community Centre, the redevelopment of Noble Park Railway Station and the construction of the new Aquatic centre which is home to Melbourne's largest water slide.
