Guidelines and Terms of Agreement
- The commissioned artist will create a new artwork that celebrates the 70 years of AMES Australia’s work supporting migrants and refugees to settle in Australia.
- AMES Australia will provide reference images to be used as reference material for the artwork.
- The artist will create the artwork in the medium(s) proposed in their Expression of Interest and agreed with AMES Australia on advisement of being successful on being awarded the commission.
- 2D artwork will be a minimum of 1.5m (h) x 1m (w) and no greater than 1.5m (h) x 1.8m (w)
- 3D (sculptural) artwork will be a minimum of 1.5m (h) and not exceed x 1m (w) x 0.5m (d).
- The artwork must be completed and delivered to AMES Australia by 10 February 2022.
- It is the responsibility of the artist to deliver that artwork to AMES Australia at their cost.
- The artist will be paid a total of $3,000 ex GST to create the artwork.
- 50% of the commission fee will be paid at the commencement of the creation of the artwork.
- The remaining 50% will be paid on completion and delivery of the artwork to AMES Australia.
- The artist will invoice AMES Australia for the commission fees.
- Licencing - the artist grants AMES Australia a royalty-free, irrevocable, perpetual licence to reproduce (including to photograph) the artwork in material form, publish and communicate the work to the public for the following purposes, and anything incidental to such purposes as marketing, publicity, and events, in all media, including electronic/digital, broadcasting and print media.
- The artist will retain all copyright of the artwork.
